Stories From the Studio: Braidwood Regional Arts Centre

It’s a special one for us tonight as we visit the Braidwood Regional Arts Centre, a volunteer run creative space in the heart of beautiful Braidwood. The centre is run by the Braidwood Regional Arts Group, known locally as Brag, who run an incredible program of exhibitions and events as well as regular workshops and even yoga classes. It’s a very well-loved part of the community.

STA are thrilled to be working with BRAG to mount the PAINT THE TOWN Legacy exhibition that showcases some fabulous canvases from artists that created murals featured I the PAINT THE TOWN mural tour. Its especially timely given the first Braidwood mural to enter the PAINT THE TOWN tour is a much-loved portrait of Zomy who was on the front lines locally during the black summer fires and was tragically killed when her humanitarian convoy was targeted by the Israeli Army in Gaza. Read more about it here.

The Braidwood Regional Arts Centre is a distination event every weekend. With an exciting offer for the Braidwood weekend of the QPRC Arts Trail.
