Fix Your Broken Items – The Wollondilly Waste to Art Prize theme for 2026 is reuse and repair so STA are planning our first event Wollondilly Repair Café. Join our community of skilled volunteers and get your belongings repaired in a sustainable way.

Irish & Celtic Music Festival
Yass comes alive with the sights and sounds of Irish and Celtic culture,
the town centre is filled with music, dance, poetry, markets, workshops, and plenty of good craic.

Join Southern Tablelands Arts at the Wollondilly Arts Alive Festival as we create a window wonderland in the spectacular foyer of the Wollondilly Performing Arts Centre. We need your help to create a giant community mural of colour, shape and light to illuminate the windows at the WPAC. Use our specially created colour film to transform an ordinary set of windows into a glorious riot of colour that will light up the festival. There might even be a few dinosaurs to be found in the final design.
FREE & Fun for everyone in the family to enjoy, children to be accompanied. All materials and equipment provided.

Step into a world of Victorian elegance fused with steam-powered imagination!
Steampunk Goulburn is a chance to travel through time, as it never was. Steampunk mixes the industrial age with futuristic imaginations or how the future might have been imagined in the past.
Everyone LOVES this vibrant, 3-day celebration of folk, roots, and world music held annually in the historic gold-mining village of Majors Creek, NSW. The entirely volunteer-run event features intimate acoustic sessions, bush dances, instrumental workshops, and market stalls.

The Hoodies are a group of local artists, Jos Roberts, Susan Pearson, Jannine Devery and Jan Armstrong. Initially mentored by Cherry Hood, acclaimed watercolour artistand over the years the group met at Cherry’s studio while developing their individual talents and styles. Cherry has now moved away and this group continues to work together.

Songs of the Garden – a slow, hands-on pottery experience inspired by natural forms.
In this workshop, you’ll transform a wheel-thrown ceramic box—already thoughtfully made by Danielle—into a blossom-inspired keepsake. Using clay moulds, you’ll create and apply delicate floral details, building a soft, layered design across the lid.

Love Letters with Stephanie Corkhill Hyles
Using the recently published Love Letters book, you will choose one of five letters that speaks to you. From there, we will create a mixed-media artwork that brings together the written word with art materials of your choice.

Dare to be Brave – Kerry McInnis
The aim of this workshop is to encourage participants to loosen up their approach in representing a subject in 2D. By using a broad and rather wild technique, a painted colour base is established upon which, at various stages, some refining of the subject is accomplished using drawing media.
