Southern Tablelands Arts works with our members, makers & creative communities to energise and support the living culture of the STA Region. We do this  through a rich program of professional services and projects that support, create, educate and advocate for the arts and cultural sector.

🎄STA has commisioned singer songwriter Jerikye Williams to spread the festive cheer this summer. Please enjoy his beautiful version of a Roy Orbison holiday classic. Jerikye is a Wiradjuri man, born in Cowra & living on Ngambri/Ngunnawal land in Queanbeyan Palerang.

Wherever your feet take you this summer STA wish you a season of joy and creativity.
STA will be closed 25 December to 1 January for a well earned break. See you in 2026.

When people ask ‘what does STA do?’ It’s tempting to reply ‘Do you have time for a coffee, and I’ll tell you’

STA are a small arts organisation in regional NSW. We provide a multifaceted program of core services and a changing line up of projects that we achieve with the community. We are a critical part of the  local Arts and Cultural ecosystem.

This fabulous ‘ STA Story’ helps us tell the story of  who we are, what we do and why we are so dedicated to supporting our local Creative Sector. The STA team works tirelessly to develop and sustain the arts and cultural landscape of the STA Region. And we LOVE what we do. Huge thank you to the amazing Kevin Greaves for producing our story.
