Recently STA spent the afternoon with Stephen Lindsay at Old Binda Road Recording Studio. We were joined by Music NSW Regional Music Officer Michael Simic.

Stephen shared some achievements and proudest moments from his career as a sound engineer and composer.

One shining project from the list is Stephen’s song A Million Stars which was recorded to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Abbey Road Studios in November 2011.

A Million Stars was one of 8 original compositions selected from over 900 composers following a global call out to celebrate one of the most famous studios in the world.

The song was recorded at Abbey Road Studios with the London Symphony Orchestra, Crouch End Festival Chorus and Anna Jane Casey providing the lead vocal.

Old Binda Road Studio records artists from across the region, including talented locals, Isy Cappo, Mariah K and Michael Simic.

Follow Old Binda Road Studios on Facebook and be the first to know about their new releases.
