Repair Café Wollondilly
Fri 17 July 11am – 1pm – No BOOKINGS just turn up and find your volunteer repair match

Get ready for the first Wollondilly Repair Café as part of the fun and sustainable Wollondilly Waste to Art prize 2026.

A Repair café is a free community place to bring broken household items—like clothing, small electronics, machines, and furniture—to be fixed by skilled volunteer repairers. We want to keep usable items out of landfill, teach repair skills, and share a safe community space that’s all about being responsible about waste.

Thanks to our fabulous Volunteers here is your mending menu:

How it Works

  • Expert Help: You are paired with a volunteer who diagnoses the problem and helps you fix your item on the spot.
  • Do-It-Together: It is an interactive learning process. You watch, learn, and often participate in the repair.
  • Free Labor, Low Cost: The repair service is completely free, though you will need to supplement available supplies such as bring a zipper etc.
  • The Café Vibe: While waiting for your repair, you can enjoy a coffee, tea, and chat with locals.
