While STA are in high gear with May Music Month we caught up with Michael Simic about the launch of his new album Caravan Songs, becoming a dad and making music.

“Becoming a parent has been an invitation to leave behind everything I thought I knew, and go on an adventure into the unknown. As an artist, that’s just about the greatest gift you can have. These songs feel like they are a map for the next phase of my life.” Michael Simic on Caravan Songs

Caravan Songs is available through Bandcamp a platform that has a fair approach to paying artists for their work. CDs and Vinyl will be rolling out soon. Caravan Songs is released through Oceanic Records.

For the first run of launch shows, Michael  has put together a 5-piece band to bring the album to life on stage. The shows will be opened by another Oceanic Records artist, promising sixteen year old Goulburn singer-songwriter Isy Cappo, who also sang harmony vocals on Caravan Songs.
