Lantern Making with Tracy Luff for the Illuminate Wollondilly Festival of Art & Light

STA lanterns were the stars of the amazing Illuminate Wollondilly Festival, a fantasy night time world of colour and lights to Picton.
We host lots of lantern making workshops workshops to make lanterns with schools and the public every.

Materials
- Baking paper roll from the super market
- Seven bamboo sticks 45cm long.
You can buy these form most garden centres in various lengths. Cut to length with a pair of garden shears.
- Masking tape
- PVA Glue (mix up with equal amount of water).
- LED light – can be a tea light or similar any light source will work.
- Tissue paper for decoration
Tools
- Garden Shears (to cut bamboo)
- Scissors
- Tub for glue
- sponge
- work surface suitable for messy gluing
- We recommend an apron
