Garth Prentice: Stories from the Studio

This week at Stories from the Studio, STA had the pleasure of catching up with Garth Prentice at the Hume Conservatorium!

“Hi guys,  my name is Garth Prentice and I am a Blues guitarist and Soul vocalist living in Goulburn NSW. I have the privilege of being a performing musician and also a tutor to many in my role, Head of Contemporary Music, at the Hume Conservatorium. I perform solo acoustic and in a heap of really cool bands, Ooh La La for the pop, The Mike Baker Organ Trio for the instrumental funk and Garth Vader for the rock and roll!! I perform at a variety of local venues and Goulburn events and also am the front man for the Commitments Tribute show on August 4th at the Hume Conservatorium.”

Garth Prentice will be performing next week on Thursday 4th of August at the Hume Conservatorium WinterFeast Fundraiser Dinner! A night of amazing music, food and fun for the annual Winterfeast!

All the best music from the 1991 musical comedy-drama. Including Mustang Sally, Chain of Fools, Take me to the River, Treat her Right and In the Midnight Hour.

Shake off the winter chill with a wine, a hearty dinner, lively music and make sure you have your dancing shoes on!
