How can we grow cultural tourism across the region?

Our neighbours at South East Arts are hosting an evening of networking and information about cultural tourism. The forum will include the launch of Creative South the new cultural tourism map for Southern NSW.

STA Executive Director Rose Marin will present some of the experiences to be found in the Southern Tablelands and Kristie Phelan Director at Sturt Gallery and Studios will zoom in the discuss Sturt’s unique place in attracting people to the Highlands.

Join us on Monday 7 June at the Bega Valley Commemorative Civic Centre for the cultural tourism forum.

Networking event – 5.00 to 6.00pm

An ideal opportunity to bring together people from the arts and tourism – canapés provided and the bar will be open.

Cultural Tourism Forum – 6.00 to 8.00pm

What is cultural tourism and what does it currently look like in our region? South East Arts will present a research report on the value of the arts for our visitor economy, launch a new cultural trails website and we will hear from a range of people and organisations working in tourism and the arts in the region.
