Stories from the Studio: Bec Noonan

This week we stopped in to visit Bec Noonan at her home studio in Goulburn. Bec is making quite a name for herself with her beautiful landscapes and still-life paintings, often featuring her home area and other places from across the STA region.

Bec’s work ‘Autumn afternoon Mulwaree Ponds’ is a finalist on display as part of the 2026 Harden Art Prize. The biennial prize is a fabulous reason to include a trip to Harden- Murrumburrah in your ANZAC weekend adventures.

There is a timeless stillness evident in Bec’s work. Her refined compositions and elegant use of colour depict a serene world that beckons the viewer to linger and enjoy. Each painting is a window into a peaceful realm of the artists making.
