Stories from the Studio: Tina Milson

This week at Stories from the Studio we get to talk to Tina Milson amongst the Portraits on Main Exhibition at Belmore Park in Goulburn!

The exhibition includes over 100 portraits of individuals over the age of 50 years who make a difference to the Goulburn community, however big or small. Positioned off Goulburn’s historic main street, the exhibit is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the strength of the Goulburn community through the creative arts.

“There are so many people doing amazing things – but it’s not always front-page news”

The photographs are on display along the paths of Belmore Park and adjacent fences for 6 weeks. Beside each image is a QR code linking to the official website where members of the public can read the incredible stories of the portrait subjects.

“This project has been a labour of love over the past few years. I am humbled by the trust people have placed in me taking their photo and telling their story. I am so excited to share this project with our community. I hope the exhibition provides a blueprint for other communities to celebrate the many unsung heroes in rural towns”.

Portraits on Main has been extended until Wednesday 11th January. Don’t miss this wonderful exhibition in beautiful Belmore Park.
