This week STA dropped in for a yarn with Indigenous Artist Delise Freeman who is also the CEO of the Pejar LALC (Local Aboriginal Land Council).

It’s a busy time for Delise and her team as they prepare for Goulburn’s NAIDOC week Celebrations, planned for the 5th of December. STA will support the celebrations with an art activity, so please watch our What’s On and socials for details closer to the event.

Delise creates large and small scale paintings as well as hand paints her designs onto a range of wares.

My name is Delise Freeman. I am based in Goulburn and a proud Wiradjuri woman.

I love and am very proud of my Aboriginal culture and Heritage.

My designs depict my attitude towards life. Circles  – there is no end – continuous.

I hope that you love my work as much as I have loved and enjoyed doing it.

Delise can custom design and paint items to your choice of colours. Contact Delise on 0417 254 813 or via email: [email protected] or via her facebook page; Deadly Del Designs and at the Tarago Art shop who have some of the artist’s work available.
