STA CASP Grant Application Form

CASP is everyone’s favourite annual small grants program — supporting creative projects and arts activities in our communities for decades.

Before applying, please make sure you:

  • Read the key dates and application guidelines below
  • Download the CASP Budget Template for your application (Link coming soon!)
  • Reach out to the STA team for support with your 2026 CASP submission.
 

Key Dates:

  • 01 Nov – Applications open for 2026 activities/projects.
  • 23 January (midnight)– Applications close
  • 24 Jan- 13 Feb – Review, assessment and processing of applications and notifications to submissions.
  • 14 Feb –  ❤️CASP DAY announcements of funded CASP activities for 2026.
  • CASP funded activities/projects to be completed by 31 December 2026.
 

Application Guidelines: 

Applicant Eligibility

Applicants must;

  • Be a member of Southern Tablelands Arts (membership is free thanks to Create NSW and our contributing Local Councils)
  • Have an Australian Business Number (ABN). If you need to get an ABN you can apply here at the Australian Business Register.
  • Be based within the Southern Tablelands Arts contributing council areas of Goulburn Mulwaree, Hilltops, Queanbeyan-Palerang, Wingecarribee, Wollondilly, Upper Lachlan and Yass Valley
  • Be an individual, or arts-based organisation
  • Apply for an arts related project
  • Complete projects between 14 February 2026 to 31 December 2026

 

Eligible Activities

We are aiming to be as flexible as possible and will consider a wide range of requests, providing it will have a positive impact on your arts practice and/or the community, such as; 

  • Cultural projects delivered in our communities
  • Socially engaged arts projects
  • Workshop delivery
  • Display and exhibitions
  • Performances
  • Amazing arts programs
  • Community engaged projects
  • Participatory arts experiences
 

This funding will not support

  • Competitions, Awards, Prizes, Judging
  • Fundraising events
  • General operating expenses or ongoing costs of long-term continuous projects
  • Projects that have commenced or are completed
  • Activities which could be considered part of the curriculum for schools or tertiary institutions
  • Overseas travel
  • Non-arts related activities
 

Time Frame

Applications open on Saturday 01 November 2025. Applications close midnight 23 January 2026.  Successful recipients will be notified in February in time for the ❤️ CASP DAY announcements on 14 February.

Successful applicants need to return signed funding agreements with an invoice to Southern Tablelands Arts for the amount granted. CASP Activities can begin following completion of agreement.
