About Tracy Luff

Luff’s work encompasses site specific installations, public art, community workshops and commercial exhibitions. Her formal qualifications include a B.VA (Hons) ANU 2006; and a Grad Dip. Voc.Ed & Training, CSU 2012. A career highlight was Luff’s completion of three major commission works for “The Great Southern Line ANZAC Stories”, a project by Southern Tablelands Arts involving much community consultation and collaboration with historical researcher, Dr. Mary Hutchinson. The works are installed at three regional railway stations and commemorate the WW1 service of NSW Railways workers.

Luff will use her skills in community consultation to explore how forced isolation and social restrictions have disrupted normally family life and the increased reports of family and domestic violence.  Drilling down into these problems will frame the creative direction of a sculptural installation.

About Jodie Munday

I have been studying art and building my skills for most of my life.

Munday’s passion for Visual Arts really took hold during her high school years and since then she has completed various forms of study and work continuing to build upon her skills and arts practice.

In 2011 Munday began her own business Cr8ive Art. Her art career was put on hold for some years during this time to begin raising a young family.

Over the past 2 years she has begun to focus on building her arts business back up again and has had work featured at Gallery on Track, Goulburn NSW and entered various local art exhibitions throughout the area. Muday has also commenced working in schools supporting students and staff in various roles including Aboriginal Education.

Munday’s chosen areas to work in include drawing using various mediums, photography, printmaking, pottery, wood burning and a new found interest in painting. Many of her works are a combination of the above resulting in mixed media forms once completed.

Using her heritage of Celtic, Aboriginal and British descent, Munday will continue to represent nature and the environment. With the rising of the Warragamba and Whyangla dam walls affecting many native species she will pose the question “What does the future look like without these animals and are you happy with that?”
