Tabletop letterpress for beginners
Try out using a tabletop clamshell letterpress with graphic designer Celeste Weber. Enjoy the rhythmic sounds and motions of printing with a letterpress for the first time. You don’t need any prior skills, as you will be using plates Celeste has already made. She will also be showing you a technique using watercolour washes behind some of the designs.
Take home your prints, a short guide on how to make your own designs for letterpress plates, and the opportunity to use Celeste’s letterpress for one of your own designs if you decide to get a plate made.
