Stories from the Studio: Recap 2025
One of our most loved and enduring initiatives is ‘Stories From The Studio’ a project that has grown into a vibrant archive of creativity, connection and community. Over many years, STA has stepped inside studios, rehearsal rooms, workshops and creative spaces to shine a light on the people who make our region pulse with artistic life.
Through ‘Stories From The Studio’, we’ve connected with an extraordinary range of creatives: artists, musicians, writers, dancers, actors, singers, potters, painters and so many more. Each story offers a glimpse into the heart of an arts practice—where ideas are formed, skills are honed and passion comes to life. It’s a platform designed to amplify the voices of our members and celebrate the diversity of creative expression that surrounds us.
We love sharing what our community is creating and experiencing. From exhibitions and openings to concerts, performances, open studios and workshops, Stories From The Studio captures the moments that matter—both big and small. It’s about process as much as presentation, and about the people behind the work as much as the work itself.
This program proudly showcases the depth and richness of arts and cultural practice across the Southern Highlands and Tablelands region. Each feature adds another layer to a growing picture of a region alive with imagination, skill and collaboration.
