Stories from the Studio: Patrick Nellestein at Moss Vale Art Factory

This week, STA met with Patrick Nellestein at River Road Creative’s Moss Vale Art Factory. The Moss Vale Art Factory is a unique creative development space designed to support people of all ages and abilities with their creative pursuits. It’s a hub for music, art, coding and more.

The space fosters self-expression and the development of new creative skills. We explored the vibrant music studio equipped with all the essentials for songwriting and production, including computers, sound cards, DJ equipment, and a variety of instruments.

A standout feature is the breakout space, perfect for casual jam sessions, reading, and other creative projects. The art room, encourages a therapeutic approach to art, allowing participants to freely express themselves with paint and other materials.

STA recently ran a Waste to Art Creative workshop with local youth, repurposing CDs and transforming the accessible toilet area, adding a touch of creativity and sustainability to the Art Factory.

The Moss Vale Art Factory is located at Shop 1 439 Argle Street Moss Vale. Stay updated at www.riverroad.edu.au/mossvaleartsfactory and follow on instagram @riverroadmossvale and on Facebook
