Artist and photographer. My work is a way of making sense of the world around me.

It is a way of expressing my response to the complexities of the natural world, its beauty, phenomena and chaos and the human presence. The natural world can be inspiring and challenging, the sense of deep time, the seasons and the momentary, the order and power.

I am interested in the concept that the places we inhabit may shape us and how this is manifested.  I also enjoy making beautiful images and the need for beauty.  I have used colour and black and white photography as each medium creates a  particular mood and interpretation.  I hope to convey in my work a sense of wonder and also contemplation. To engender curiosity about how things come to be and the fragility of being.
