Jimmi Hayward and Peter Crisp are making their own discoveries in pate de verre, creating new boundaries in fusing precious stones and metals, casting and moulding finely crushed glass from that of fine powdered glass (the wafer) to the beaded which the magic occurs when heated and fused. Hayward and Crisp jewellery pieces in pate de verre is a whole new exciting frontier in the history of glass making creating new frontiers in design.
