Stories from the Studio: Julie Haeusler at Julz Pottery

This week STA were invited to Julz Pottery in Crookwell to visits Julie Haeusler and all her created characters.

Working with clay Julie Haeusler (@julz_pottery) creates functional wares such as bowls plates and cups but the stars of the show are the super cool animal sculptures inspired by the natural world. Julie’s animals are full of personality; they are fun and quirky.

Julie was a prize winner at this year’s Goulburn show. First in the craft ceramics (freehand) and champion in the ceramics and mosaics section for her little red earth fox.

See Julie’s work on display at the Taralga Art Show, a major destination exhibition to find the perfect gift or work of art to keep.

You can buy Julie’s work for sale at the Crookwell Visitor Information Centre  and the Goulburn Visitor Information Centre.
