Southern Tablelands Arts are looking for a casual Gallery Attendant to supervise and attend to the gallery spaces at Connect@GunningStation the new arts and cultural hub in Gunning, NSW. Connect@Gunning Station is set to become a destination for cultural experiences and opportunities and a hub at Gunning to be enjoyed by our whole region and by the many visitors keen for a unique regional experience. The position is a offered on a casual basis for a mimimum fixed term of 12 months with the possibility of extension. The pay rate is $30 per hour with weekend penalty rates plus 11% super.
We will move quickly through the selection and decision process with a view to you starting 22 September 2023.

STA is a small arts organisation funded by Create NSW and seven regional councils. We started operation in the 90s and are a registered non-profit organisation with an amazing Board. Expected Roster for 2023
The Gallery attendant will staff the exhibitions at Connect which are currently programmed to occur seasonally across three weeks. Hours for each exhibition currently consist of Friday and Saturday for three consecutive weeks. There is potential for further shifts to be added into the roster as the program expands particularly during the school holidays.

- Thursday 21st installation
- Exhibitions 22-23 Sept & 29 Sept -30 Sept & 6- 7October
- Friday 27th October installation
- Grand Opening Event Saturday 28 October
- Exhibitions 3-4 & 10 -11 November
