Jerikye Williams: Stories from the Studio

This week STA had the pleasure of catching up with Jerikye Williams, who is the Highland FM’s 100% Home-grown Artist Of The Month of June!

Jerikye is a Wiradjuri man, born in Cowra and living on Ngambri/Ngunnawal land. Jerikye was born with a guitar in his hand and a great love for 1950’s and 60’s rock’n roll. At 20, he embodies the spirit of great artists with effortless musicianship and charisma. A natural showman, he lights up any stage, whether performing classics or his own original songs.

Head over to Jerikye’s website for more on this up and coming artist – jerikyewilliams.com

“I play covers and originals, my originals are influenced by the 50’s & 60’s , especially Elvis & Roy Orbison”

His 5 year plan? “My ambition is to be bigger than Elvis!”
