Stories from the Studio: Five Journeys at Connect@Gunning Station

Over two glorious weekends, Five Journeys brings together five artists from the Visual Arts Society of Yass (VASY), united by their passion for creative exploration.

Held at Connect@Gunning Station, the exhibition features sculpture, painting, photography, fibre art, and mixed media — with each work offering a glimpse into the artists’ diverse and deeply personal journeys. The exhibition features sculpture, painting, photography, fibre art, and mixed media — each piece offering a glimpse into the unique artistic journeys of the makers.

Penny Kerr sculpts striking forms from foraged willow; Jennifer Hudson layers colour and texture in joyful, nature-inspired works; Helen MacArthur creates sculptural pieces using recycled materials, fibre, and ancient motifs; Karen Visser captures macro moments in photography and paints vibrant, abstracted realities; and Pauline Balos expresses deep cultural stories through rich, emotive paintings.
