Stories from the Studio: Alyce King
This week, Alyce King gave us a sneek peak of the set of the upcoming Lieder Theatre production of “fox on the fairway”! Originally from Canberra, Alyce is an actress and performer based in Goulburn, NSW. She started her time on stage as a dancer and spent many years performing as part of a dance troupe. After discovering community theatre at the age of 12, Alyce dove head first into singing and acting and has been a regular on stage ever since. Alyce has also performed in several original musicals in Canberra and short films. Since moving to Goulburn Alyce has been seen as Alice in Rocky Hill’s production of The Addams Family at the GPAC, Glinda in The Wizard of Oz and Monika in After Dinner (Bladwell Productions).
Alyce is playing the role of Louise Heindbedder in Lieder theatres production of Fox on the fairway. Louise is a waitress at Quail valley golf and country club. She’s a little ditsy, yet studious with a positive outlook on life. She’s lucky in love with her fiancée Justin but gets into trouble as she has the tendency to burst into tears at the drop of a hat.
