Every season, a new exhibition appears at each of the five STA Box Galleries across our region.

As the cold hits we head where it’s warm at Bowral Library for the new STA Box Gallery exhibition.  

The work in the Box Gallery is a collaborative creation by participating artists at Creative Space Southern Highlands made from materials that might otherwise have gone to landfill. Multiple artists worked on the installation over several weeks following an initial workshop facilitated by STA at Moss Vale TAFE.

The resulting work is an eclectic sculpture of complex origins, dripping with pop culture references, sparkling plastics, metal and textile waste that’s been transformed into a dazzling sculpture. It’s an inspiring work perfectly timed to inspire entries into the 2025 Wollondilly Waste to Art Prize, which happens to be open for entries.
