My Bottle Top jewellery is based on traditional Khmer takao 8 petal lotus design. The materials used to construct the jewellery were collected from my daily walks in both Thailand and Goulburn, Australia. The images on the bottle tops reminded me that this discarded material represents the country, location, culture and mindset of local people. These pieces will challenge the viewer to re-evaluate how they value the environment, culture, religion and how their daily activities endanger the world through their discarding of rubbish.
