Maisie’s Choir Summer Lovin’ Concert | 18 Nov 2017 1pm – 4pm
Maisie’s Choir Summer Lovin’. The concert features the ever-popular Maisie’s Choir and the Kitchen Band and the Dante Musica Viva Choir from Canberra. Yass Soldiers Memorial Hall will be filled with the voices of the combined choirs in a celebration of summer and song. The free event will bring people from all over the region to see the popular local group perform some of their favourite songs. More information here.

Cris Kennedy will lead conversations with authors at the beautiful Eden Road Wines estate in Murrumbateman. Meet Dr LJM Owen, Karen Viggers and Scott Baker in an intimate conversation about writing, science, fiction and their own processes during an afternoon at Eden Road Wines. Get ready for your Art Trail adventure by exploring the studio and artist pages here. With 44 studios to choose from this year, you need to make a plan! The Art Studio Trail is on the weekends of 4-5 November and 11-12 November. Entry is free. Music from chamber to blues – plus exhibitions, vintage markets, film and other creative experiences. Queanbeyan Environment Expo | 11 -12 Nov 2017
Southern Tablelands Arts will be at the Queanbeyan Show demonstrating how to make bees wax food wraps and reduce food waste. Come along and learn how to make your own wraps to reduce single use plastics in your home. Bees wax wraps will be available for purchase on the day. More information soon.

Artstate is a new four year project by Regional Arts NSW to shine a light on excellence in regional arts practice and to explore the exciting possibilities for arts and cultural development across the state. Over the period we will be partnering with our network of Regional Arts Development Organisations to bring a stimulating program of regional, national and international speakers to share their experiences and knowledge.
