Lantern Making with Tracy Luff for the Illuminate Wollondilly Festival of Art & Light

Light up the night with your very own handmade pyramid lantern. Tracy Luff has been making lanterns for many years and she perfected the best way for you to make your own. It’s easier than you think.

Every year STA works with Wollondilly Council on the amazing Illuminate Wollondilly Festival that bring a fantasy night time world of colour and lights to Picton. A highlight of the festival is the Lantern Parade. We host workshops to make lanterns with schools and the public every year so the whole community can join the parade.

Now you can follow this video and make a lantern at home anytime you like.

Tip: watch the video before you gather your materials and tools together to get inspired.

Please join us for the parade. This year the Illuminate Wollondilly LANTERN PARADE is on Friday 20 May. Bring your Lantern. Meet at the Tennis Court Car Park in Downing Street at 5.30pm. Illumination begins 6.30pm
