Southern Tablelands Theatre

TWO at the Mittagong Playhouse

Directed by Ensemble Theatre Artistic Director, Mark Kilmurray, Jim Cartwright’s timeless comedy TWO introduces fourteen colourful characters, all skilfully played by Brian Meegan and Kate Raison (real-life husband and wife).

Set in the local pub, you’ll meet all the regular, a misfit crowd of eccentric and hilarious individuals.  There’s Moth, who loves Maud (and every other woman) fervently; Mrs Iger, with her passion for quiet, strong men; possessive Roy, jealous of anybody who looks at Lesley (even the darts players); Alice and Fred and their Elvis obsession; and the publicans themselves – a married couple with an unspoken secret.

By turns funny, heart-warming and poignant, TWO is a lively night at the theatre.

Snugglepot and Cuddlepie by the Rocky Hill Musical Theatre Company

Based on the works of May Gibbs, ‘Snugglepot and Cuddlepie: The Musical’ brings the famous children’s book characters to life. The show begins as the beloved gumnut brothers set off on an adventure to see a human. They are joined on their quest by Mr Lizard and along the way, meet Little Ragged Blossom at a dance. As they trek through the bush, the four adventurers meet many new friends, and even take a trip to the bottom of the sea. However, Snugglepot and Cuddlepie had best beware on their adventure, for the evil Mrs Snake and the Bad Banksia Men are always lurking nearby. With words and music by popular children’s entertainer Peter Combe, ‘Snugglepot and Cuddlepie’ is an energetic, fun, and family-friendly musical. The RHMTC would be delighted if you’d join us as we celebrate a centenary of May Gibb’s work with ‘Snugglepot and Cuddlepie: The Musical’ this March.

Performances will be held at St Nicholas’ Church Hall on Kinghorne street. The show opens on Friday 8th March at 7pm and continues Saturday 9th, Friday 15th and Saturday 16th at 7pm with a matinee at 2pm on Sunday 10th March. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children/student/concession/pension

Tickets are available now and can be purchased from Goulburn Medical Clinic in McKell Place or online at trybooking: https://www.trybooking.com/BADOB. You can also follow the links from our website: https://www.rockyhillmtc.com.au/
