The Southern Tablelands Creatives searchable database will be designed to promote artists and arts and cultural organisations to audiences, arts and cultural organisations, funding bodies and investors. Each listing will be created as mini web presence for artists, arts organisations and cultural and heritage centres that will be user managed and controlled. The benefit for creative industries includes enabling potential clients, visitors, booking agents and arts organisations to search, find and contact artists to increase employment, sales and opportunities for artists across the Southern Tablelands.
Each artist and organisation’s self managed page will list art forms, skills, education, experience and an artist or organisation statement. The benefit is that information about your arts business or practice will be easily accessible to clients, funding bodies, customers, and direct people to your social media, website and online galleries. This will make you easy to find and contact to be a part of projects and programs across the region.
The website is open to all forms of art including but not limited to painting, drawing, dance, music, writing, sculpture, choirs, textiles, public artwork, theatre and creative industries as well as galleries, cultural centres, historical societies, theatres, clubs, groups and more.
The Southern Tablelands Creatives website will be built in early 2019 and we are seeking artists and organisations to register early to help build the initial content of the website. Your registration will give you a login that you can manage once the website is complete. Your information will be uploaded and then the control of the content will be handed to you to manage. Short classes will be run to help with this process.
