James Bunter: Stories from the Studio

Turn off the Penrose Road, drive under the rail line head passed the stone echidna and then just follow your nose. These are the directions to get to the home of sculptor James (Jim) Bunter. STA had to honour of visiting the artist this week with Emma Dunnage the curator of Penrose Art Exhibition.

James creates beautiful sculptural works inspired by nature and the human form. James’ studio space is open to nature and is surrounded by his work hiding amongst the greenery as well as a collection of stones waiting transformation by the artist. There is something very special about these sculptures and the unique Artist that creates them.
You can see a selection of finished works by James at the upcoming Penrose Art Exhibition. See you there.
