Stories from the Studio – Bonnie Curtis

This week we stopped in to see Bonnie Curtis of Bonnie Curtis Projects. Who let us know what she has been up too:

I am creating a commission for Delving into Dance on the impact I have felt from COVID-19.

Looking for the bright side of this experience and I want to share the positive experiences people have had accessing dance over the past few months.

With my dance company Bonnie Curtis Projects we have been working on Wonderland, a one-of-a-kind, interactive experience that suspends the limits of imagination and reality. Unfortunately we had to postpone our March season due to COVID-19.

We have been making use of this “down time” to think about how we can really connect with our audiences through our work.

We have also been working on incorporating our newer company members into our award-winning GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS.

The plan was to tour regionally this year so instead we are looking at future dates to bring GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS to the Southern Tablelands and other parts of Regional NSW.

Stay tuned…
