Spring is definitely here! It’s time to start thinking about stepping outside. Coming up in October we have a follow on from our Creative Fitness program called “Monday Crafternoons”. Our personal trainer Tess will be joining us again for some light fitness followed by an opportunity to catch up with friends, have a picnic and get a bit of craft/art done in the open air.
Starting on Monday the 14th of October 12 noon at the Waterworks.
We can help you with writing prompts, crafty ideas etc. So if you don’t have anything to bring, come along anyway!
The Creative Fitness program was developed and designed by Southern Tablelands Arts to create a new way of approaching fitness and health through the arts it has been funded by the Southern Area Health Service through a competitive grants program.
The original program saw participants engage in dance, ceramics, creative writing and painting at the Waterworks in Goulburn. The classes incorporated about an hour of exercise followed by a creative practice. The new classes will be slightly different with the exercise component largely the same but with a more open creative element.
The free sessions will run from 12-2 on Mondays starting in term 4 for 8 weeks. You can register your interest by contacting Giselle 4823 4849 [email protected]
