This week we caught up with Rudy Kistler who has just completed the finishing touches on his wonderful mural in the Caroline Chisholm Courtyard at Goulburn.Art Regional Gallery. The Mural completed over three weeks is a tribute to Caroline Chisholm and was created by Rudy with some initial help from local young people who have an interest in public art. We are loving the new look of the courtyard.
We spent the week in a glow after IlluminARTe Wollondilly on the 29th of April. We had over 1000 people attend the new pop up exhibition and more than 100 people in our amazing River of Light lantern parade. The parade was led by the beautiful River Song by the Sydney World Music Chamber Orchestra and and accompanied by Picton Strings. Our Neural Knitworks Display attracted a lot of participants and we had some very interesting moments in with the BrainLight exhibition. The crowd was absolutely packed around the Lieder Theatre’s Fire Show event and The WAG exhibition and makers markets was shoulder to shoulder all night. Picton was alight with the projections created by local artists and students. Another fantastic festival. See you next year!
